Catgirl Meows: Past, Present, Future

TRIGGER WARNING AND SPOILER ALERT!

This blog post goes into a discussion about narcissist abuse awareness and talks about trauma in full detail. These topics may be sensitive to some readers. Please be safe when reading subjects like this. Also, practice self-care always and after reading this.

This post also contains spoilers about Catgirl if you haven't read the Feline Warrior story.

Meow Meow,

PAST

Catgirl lived a life where she was abused and used. Her abusers were always trying to bring her down. They would not accept her for who she truly was. They wanted to mold her into their perfect little creation. They would manipulate and control her to the point where she did not know she was being treated in such a way. She had just become used to living this extravagant life and thought she was happy, but it eventually became apparent, she was nowhere near it. She had others come to her and let her know that how she was living was not okay. Others let her know that the person she was with was in fact, an abuser. At first, she didn't want to believe others, but then she took a step back and let her eyes start to widen towards the truth.

PRESENT

Catgirl lives a life where things are much better now, but she is still fighting through the pain she suffered. She is suffering because of her past abuse, and she just wants to know when the pain will all end. Her abuser is still trying to find ways to get to her and bring her down. She often wonders, "Will they ever stop?" It just seems that people who abuse others for so long, they just do not know when to give up. They will do anything to take back that control. Catgirl is in a constant battle and still believes that sometimes the world is against her. She often may think "Nobody cares" or "Why should she continue on when the people that are in it are so evil?" As mentioned above, even the people she has cut out of her life are still managing to find their way in somehow.

Fortunately, Catgirl is in control of her life now and how she lives it. But there is still trauma and there are still chapters that need to be closed. However, those chapters cannot be closed immediately like she originally planned. Her abuser made promises that were broken, and you will read more about this in the second part of the Feline Warrior two-part series. Coming soon.

FUTURE

Catgirl hopes to have closed those chapters.  There is so much she wants to overcome. She wants to continue living her life to the fullest. She will continue to write and be remembered as the girl who pushed through anything and everything. She hopes to no longer suffer completely. Even though this world will probably be tough, she needs to try to realize that it's not singling her out (even though it might feel like it at times). Everyone goes through tough times, and she will learn to handle her own struggles in her own way. Catgirl is someone who wants to be looked at as a different person. But a person who is making a better difference! She wants people to look at her in the future as "who?" because maybe some people didn't believe in her or maybe they didn't believe that she was strong enough to overcome it all. But she left her past and that's the start of making the future brighter. And she will always look at her past as "who?" because her abuser is just a passerby and someone she never really knew.

“TWO. It is like I never even knew you.
You are someone I look at and go who?”
